Hey Jo! You know that passionate business owners LOVE what they do, but you are right, we often lack balance on the FUN side. Last fall after our trip to Tucson (which was work and fun ;) I decided I needed to have one thing that was just for me, totally non-productive and 100% joyful. For me that meant returning to my early love of horses which I had put on the shelf for the last 25 years! Now I'm riding again regularly and working with two rescue horses. I've also made a new two-legged friend who shares this interest. This restores my soul and I believe makes me a better mother, wife and business owner. Whatever that passion was or is for you, make time for it. It might be something you used to love before you "grew up" - if so, be a kid again!
