You may have watched the movie or read the book, The Secret. In it, the experts discuss the power of the Law of Attraction.
The Law of Attraction simply says that what you think about you attract into your life.
If you think about how everyone is selfish and only interested in themselves;
your life will reflect that as truth. On the other hand, if you think about how people are giving and help each other, your life will be a reflection of that thought.
I agree. You create your life based on how you think.
With the countless books, seminars and videos on how to create the life you want; why is it that many are still stuck in a life that is dissatisfying, frustrating and even painful?
I have always believed deep in my soul, and have mentored countless others, that you can accomplish anything you set your mind to.
What many don’t understand is there is a requirement; you must be willing to do what it takes. Take ACTION!
Now, the “how” you are going to get what you want and be who you want is not always obvious at the start of your journey. But, it does not mean there isn’t a way to get there.
Jack Canfield beautifully stated during his interview in The Secret that when you drive at night from anywhere to New York, you only see the road 20 feet in front of you. You know the road continues, but your headlights only give you 20 feet of visible road.
Same is true for your journey to your dream. You are only able to see what is in front of you, but you must believe that the road continues and you will eventually reach your destination.
Sometimes you may hit a patch of fog, which makes it difficult to “see” even 2 feet in front of you. Or it may seem you are hitting stop sign after stop sign. Other times, you may feel like you are driving in bright day light and see miles ahead.
The truth that your dream is possible does not change. It’s your willingness to continue and do the “next thing” that will keep you moving forward down the road and eventually reach it.
When I work with clients, I challenge them to pick 3-5 actions they can take each day that will move them forward towards their goal. Then they use their Priority Hour to take action on those items.
If taking action on 3-5 items seems daunting, choose 1-2. The key is to get in ACTION.
